Explaing the process of Lip Filler treatment...

After a comprehensive consultation, an anesthetic cream will be applied to the area prior to injection to numb the area to be treated.

If preferred, a dental or lip block may be used, where a small amount of lignocaine (an anesthetic like the ones used by dentists) is injected into the area to help to numb the lips prior to treatment, although this is not usually necessary as the combination of the anaesthetic cream, ice packs and local anesthetic in the dermal filler is sufficient to make the procedure comfortable.

Lip Filler Treatment takes around 20 minutes and involves a few injections of dermal filler either in the lip border (where you would put your lip liner), the body (fleshy) part of the lip, or both, depending on your lips and desired result.

Immediately after the treatment the lips will feel swollen and may also feel tender. It is recommended to use an ice pack for the initial 24 hours to help reduce swelling. You may notice bruising and slightly more swelling the following day but this will settle down.
Once the swelling has gone down the lips will look and feel soft and natural.
Lip Filler Treatment lasts 6-12 months depending on the type and amount of dermal filler used and the individual person.
